She's Alison Aubrey, also known as Ali!
You may have seen her perform at the Delaware State Fair, the Governor's Spring Fling, Borders Books, and numerous schools, childcare centers, and libraries throughout Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In 2001, with grants provided by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Delaware Division of the Arts, she performed as CongaChick at all 33 Delaware libraries. Last year, she completed a week-long series of programs in Maryland elementary schools for the Worcester County Arts Council.

Alison earned her Bachelor's degree in Anthropology (African Studies), with concentrated areas of study in Psychology and Black American Studies. Certified in Elementary Education, she taught at an area private school for ten years and has been listed four times in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers." She has taught music at the preschool level and currently teaches in the English department of a local community college.

A professional percussionist, Alison has presented hand drum and rhythm workshops since 1996. She was featured in the June 2002 issue of Delaware Today magazine, has appeared in the Wilmington News Journal and other Delaware newspapers, and also can be heard on Let Me Be a Kid, Mr. Skip's newest CD release.

Past and present member of many musical projects, she also plays bass, mandolin, ukulele, guitar, harmonica, and nose-flute. Nose-flute?
